EZ Swap Pots F.A.Q.

We have the most ergonomically designed fabric pot to be the best & most functional fabric pot on the market.  Ez Swap Pots are the only fabric pot made from a single piece of premium heavyweight fabric and the only fabric pot that’s able to expose all sides of the rootball without ever stressing the plant.  Simply put we offer a quality product that minimizes your work load, minimizes transplant shock, and makes transplanting truly easy!

Nothing could be more important than root health and fabric pots guarantee just that. Its proven fabric pots offer a larger, more fibrous root system by eliminating root circling. Fabric pots also provide better oxygen/air flow to the root system, temperature control (staying cooler in higher temperates and warming faster during cool seasons). When you have a larger healthier root system you are going to have less pests, disease, and a much better harvest.

Our pots come undone and are easily put back together with 4 snap buttons. On each side of our square fabric pots contains a flap with a heavy duty snap button. When all 4 sides are unsnapped the fabric can be pulled down to form a saucer around the rootball, exposing all sides of the rootball. Now simply lift the rootball from the fabric and put the plant in its new container. Its hassel free, mess free transplanting at its finest and your plants will thank you for it!

Our snaps are sourced here in America and are heavy duty, BPA free plastic snaps made to be used over and over again. I have personally been using some of my 1st prototypes for over a year now and haven’t had an issue with the snap breaking or pulling through the fabric. Here is a durability test I did with my EZ Swap Pot.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ2PL3v01yY

I’ve personally switched to fabric pots in the summer of 2016 and have been using the same ones since. Since I don’t use bottle nutrients, I simply wash my pots with a hose which will make them last longer. Based on leaders in the industry they should last 3-5 years depending on growing conditions and exposure to weather elements.

Our fabric is made of a premium, heavyweight non-woven polypropylene geotextile. This material is UV resistant, BPA free, and chemically stable so it won’t leach anything harmful into your plants. Our fabric resists rot and breakdown. The best part is these are 100 percent recyclable at the end of their usability!

In short Yes! With more oxygen and air flow at the root-zone, your plant will naturally use more nutrients and water. Coupled with more evaporation (If no extra preventative measures are taken) will lead to more frequent waterings.  The nice thing about fabric pots is they act as a wick and can be watered from the bottom to extend the time between waterings.  We are working to vlog about tips on how you can take preventative measures to help insure you get all the benefits of fabric pots without the hassle of extra watering!  Check out our “YouTube Page” OR in the mean time look into SIPS Container Gardening and Mulching Container Gardens.

This isn’t anything to worry about and is just a sign of salt/mineral build up showing on the fabric pot. Salt/Mineral build up can come from using bottle nutrients and the water source itself. Unless using straight RO water you will typically see this eventually. We suggest washing between harvests if you are seeing salt build up to prevent nutrient burn in future grows.  You should also be using Silica and lowering your nutrient regimen if you are frequently seeing heavy salt/mineral build up!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DU1g-_48_ik

Absolutely! Our fabric pots offer the same great advantage no matter what your growing style is. The fabric has an excellent wicking capability making it great for many hydroponic applications.

EZ Swap Liners F.A.Q.

Not at all!  You can simply fill them just as if they were coco liners with potting soil and your favorite plants!!  Check out our video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zHMgvBBWEE

At the minimum 3 growing seasons!  After that the UV breaks them down and they start acting more like coco liners where they leak more water and dry out faster.

The fabric liner acts like a sponge and absorbs water 1st before allowing any to drain through. Unlike coco liners ours won’t leak nearly as much and will use less water to get the job done!

Yes, Absolutely!

Luckily EZ Swap Liners Already Retain Moisture Longer Than Traditional Coco Liners.  A Few Tips For Water Retention Would Be To Add Extra Perlite & Compost To The Potting Soil.  Another Great Option Is To Add A Diaper Or Some Cardboard To The Bottom Of Your Liners Before Filling With Soil!

100% Yes!  We hand craft and sew each one here in the Midwest.

Currently our processing time is 1-2 days after receiving an order.  Most orders take 3-5 business days once shipped to be received!  We use USPS & Fed Ex as our shipping carriers.
